10 percent of eligible dine-in food and nonalcoholic drink sales for those presenting a flyer at Knoxville Wings Etc. on Aug. 24 will benefit youth cheerleading group Diamonds All-Stars
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (Aug. 12, 2021)—On Aug. 24, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., the Wings Etc. Knoxville location will hold a Dine to Donate fundraiser for youth cheerleading group Diamonds All-Stars. Ten percent of eligible dine-in food and nonalcoholic drink sales will benefit the group.
According to franchise owners Dwayne and Tami O’Dell, hosting Dine to Donate fundraisers, which their location does often, is a great way for their store to give back to any organization in need.
“We offer Dine to Donate fundraisers to most not-for-profit organizations that are interested,” said Tami O’Dell. “We especially love when we can give back to the youth in our community, so we do these Dine to Donates anytime we have an opening for one.”
For the O’Dells, hosting fundraisers is part of a larger mission to be involved in and connect with the Knoxville community, which is vital to the values of Wings Etc.
“We strive to build relationships with our guests; we want to get to know them,” Tami O’Dell said. “Almost every night we host an event, whether it be trivia, karaoke, or live entertainment. We want to make it a fun place to come and eat. It’s a wonderful feeling when people come in, and you know them by name, and they know yours.”
To help the O’Dells and their team raise money for Diamonds All-Stars on Aug. 24, guests must present a Dine to Donate flyer to their server or bartender and let them know they are there to participate in the fundraiser. Flyers can be picked up at the Knoxville Wings Etc. located at 319 Lovell Road in Knoxville.
