Wings Etc. brings back popular St. Jude fundraiser for NASCAR® Xfinity® race weekend

Wings Etc. Grill & Pub leadership will be serving up free wings and mozzarella sticks for race fans at Michigan International Speedway

FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Wings Etc. is thrilled to host a fundraiser August 16–17 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at the NASCAR® Xfinity® Series Cabo Wabo 250 at Michigan International Speedway.

Fans with race tickets are invited to join Wings Etc. in the infield of Michigan International Speedway where, starting around 8 p.m., Wings Etc. leadership will be preparing the brand’s award-winning boneless wings, serving sides of mozzarella sticks and bottled water.

The wings, mozzarella sticks and bottled water are free; fans can make a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in return via credit card, cash or Venmo. The event continues each evening until the wings are gone.

The race weekend fundraiser is an annual highlight for the Wings Etc. team. “We love to spend time with Wings Etc. race fans, and we share their enthusiasm for the energy that Jeremy brings to NASCAR Xfinity races,” said Wings Etc. CEO Rob Hensmann. “We also relish the opportunity to give back. The Wings Etc. Foundation is proud to partner with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and to facilitate support for their great work.”

The brand is also sponsoring NASCAR® Xfinity® Series driver Jeremy Clements, who will be racing that weekend. This is the fourth year that Wings Etc. has sponsored #51 and the third year that they’ve hosted the cookout fundraiser. At last year’s event, Wings Etc. collected $2,500 on behalf of St. Jude and they are hoping to surpass that amount this year.

The Wings Etc. Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization administered by leaders in the Wings Etc. Grill & Pub franchise organization and its affiliated companies, was founded in September 2023 to further the brand’s corporate value of giving back. Their efforts are driven by the belief that they have a responsibility to make a difference.
