On Dec. 24 from 12 p.m.-4 p.m., Wings Etc. of Madisonville, Kentucky, will offer free, hot meals to anyone in need
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (Dec. 20, 2021)— On Dec. 10-11, a late-season tornado outbreak wreaked havoc across the South and Midwest, leaving thousands of people without power, shelter, and basic necessities, and killing at least 90 people—76, so far, in Kentucky alone. To help ease the burden of finding a meal on Christmas Eve, General Manager Michelle Offutt and the Wings Etc. Madisonville Team is inviting the community to join them on Dec. 24 from noon to 4 p.m. for a free, hot meal. Guests are welcome to dine inside or carry out their food. The Madisonville location as well as several other nearby Wings Etc. locations are collecting items to help those in need.
Wings Etc. Chief Operating Officer Chuck Moore expressed sympathies to the communities devastated by the destruction and recent loss of life.
“Our hearts and support are with our teams in Mayfield and Madisonville as well as all communities impacted by the tornado outbreak,” said Moore.
