On Dec. 14, 2021, from 6-8 p.m., 10% of all food and non-alcoholic drink sales purchased at Wings Etc. Angola will benefit the Steuben County United Way
ANGOLA, Ind. (Nov. 26, 2021)—For the second consecutive year, Wings Etc. Angola and the Steuben County United Way in Indiana are partnering to maximize support to local non-profits. On Dec. 14, 2021, from 6-8 p.m., when guests order at Wings Etc. Angola, 10% of all food and non-alcoholic drink sales will stay in the community to help United Way organizations.
Jessica Brodock, director of the Steuben County United Way, noted that every dime raised stays in Steuben County and is essential to what the organization does.
“The Steuben County United Way supports human services programming focusing on health, income, and education for Steuben County residents,” she explained. “We led a COVID recovery project in 2020-2021, distributing over $300,000 to non-profits in our community to make sure they could still provide services. That is on top of our own programming and $50,000 in programming support.”
Brandon Adair, general manager of Wings Etc. Angola, said that giving back is essential to Wings Etc. With the United Way sharing the same value, Adair noted that the partnership is perfect.
“The United Way helps the community, and as part of that very same community, we try to help as best we can,” Adair explained. “We at Wings Etc. know things have been tough through the pandemic, and we are grateful to partner with an organization like the United Way that has helped so much to make an impact on those in the community that are struggling.”
To help Wings Etc. and the Steuben County United Way raise money for the 14 local organizations they provide funding for, guests can visit Wings Etc. Angola from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021, where 10% of all dine-in and carry-out food and non-alcohol sales will help non-profits in the Steuben area.
Wings Etc. Angola is a franchise location owned by Eric Kissinger and is located at 309 N. Wayne St. in Angola, Indiana.
